The sooner you get on HIV treatment, the sooner you can get to undetectable.
Transcript:
When people get tested for HIV and they find out that they have HIV, it’s important that they access treatment as soon as possible.
The longer they wait, the more that the virus will replicate in their body.
The sooner they get treatment, the sooner they can be able to make sure that the viral count will be going low, to the point of being undetectable. And that means also that they have more peace of mind to know that they are going to be healthy, that they’re going to be okay.
