If you just do a blood draw, they’re not testing you for all STDs. You need a urine sample, or a swab, depending on what area you’re actually having sex.

There are different types of STDs. So what I like to do is make sure [I know] what the tests are doing.

I recommend the individuals get tested for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hep[atitis] C, and HPV.

You won’t know unless you get tested, [be]cause some people won’t show symptoms.

So just getting tested will allow you to know what’s going on with your body.
