PrEP for HIV is a medication you take to prevent you from acquiring HIV.

Now we have different options for PrEP. So we’re talking about a pill once a day that you can take, or a long-acting injectable that is usually every eight weeks.

I am very confident that PrEP works. As a person who takes PrEP, I never doubt it. I will say this from experience, right, that if you take your PrEP medication the way you’re supposed to, it is going to work.
