Doxy PEP is the use of prescribed antibiotics to reduce the risk of acquiring certain bacterial STIs after a possible exposure.

It is very effective at reducing the risk of acquiring syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.

So that’s definitely something you should talk to your sexual health provider about as a safer sex option.
