Since I’ve been on PrEP, it’s reframed how I have discussions about sexual health. I always share, “I’m on PrEP. I was tested three months ago, or two months ago.”
So, once I open that door and let people know this is a safe space to discuss our sexual health, then oftentimes they will discuss with me. But I never approach a situation where I feel like it’s contingent on someone else’s disclosure of their sexual health status because I know I’m doing what I need to do to take care of my sexual health.
