What we’re seeing right now is people acquiring other STIs such as, syphilis, gonorrhea, [and] chlamydia.
But there’s so many people out there that do not know, and they’re getting tested when they have a late diagnosis, which is not good, right?
Some people may not show symptoms when they acquire an STI, but it’s still having an effect in your body. So it can still cause long lasting effects, and if you’re somebody who’s thinking about having a family, and those kinds of things, right, you know, not getting yourself tested for STIs can actually complicate that for you.
So, don’t feel that, just, “I’m not going to get tested [because] I don’t want to know if I have an STI.” Go get tested, so if you know you have an STI, you can be able to get it treated.
