Pill fatigue is real. Grabbing my medication, grabbing my bottle, reminding me every time that I was living with HIV. But slow down for a second. Really focus in on what is it that you need.

If you stop taking the medication, you can become detectable again.

Following my treatment as provided by my provider is keeping me at an undetectable status.

So why is that important? For a person who’s living with HIV, that means that the virus is not only keeping me so that I’m not transmitting the virus, but it’s keeping it suppressed. My body feels healthy, because it’s taking care of itself.

So if you keep up with your treatment regimen, you can stay undetectable.
