I’m not telling you to take anything that I’m not willing to take. So if I’m going to talk to you about PrEP, it’s because I’m on PrEP. It’s helped keep me negative.

I’ll be fully transparent, it took for me to continuously get those negative HIV test results before I started realizing like, “Oh, okay, this is very, very effective.”

You want to just continue to take it daily and continue to get routine testing. Or, if you’re going to do long-acting injectable PrEP, then your provider will talk to you about how frequently you need to come in to get the shot.
