I kind of hid away from my [HIV] diagnosis.

I actually started to get symptoms and feel really, really sick.

I didn’t have insurance.

I didn’t know how I was going to pay for it.

The doctor’s visits, the medication, any of it.

ADAP stands for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program.

Basically, they [ADAP] help you get your [HIV] medication and you don’t have to pay for anything.

Being able to have that access and that support, it [ADAP] helped me to get through that beginning process of being HIV positive.

Together we are greater than HIV.
