We are expanding our popular YouTube explainer series #AskTheHIVDoc to cover other pressing health issues, including more content coming in the new year on the COVID-19 vaccine.
The first of these new #AskTheDoctor videos feature Dr. Lisa Fitzpatrick, MD, MPH – a CDC-trained medical epidemiologist and infectious disease specialist – answering questions about the flu, flu vaccine, and vaccines more generally.
Dr. Fitzpatrick also talks about medical mistrust in the Black community and why healthcare providers need to listen more to their patients. The videos are produced in partnership with Grapevine Health, a company she founded to improve health literacy and patient engagement.
