Making PrEP Access More Equitable

PrEP is a really important piece of what you can do to maintain the health of your patients.

99% effectiveness in preventing HIV through sexual transmission.

And, what we see is that the people who are at the highest risk for acquiring HIV are also at the highest risk for not knowing it [PrEP] even exists.

It’s our job as clinicians to learn about PrEP and to make sure that young Black and Latino individuals are all made aware that we have an amazing tool to prevent HIV.

It’s our duty to address the giant equity gaps that we experience in PrEP knowledge, PrEP access. And, that change begins with you.
