Talking about sex with your patients does not encourage risky behavior. What it does is creates a really important alignment between your patient and you. And so having honest conversations about sex and then giving really evidence-based, data-driven, guidelines-supported information about using pre-exposure prophylaxis really shows that you care and that you are giving care to the whole person as opposed to just a part of them.
