The scariest thing about HIV is the lack of knowledge. There are individuals who don’t show symptoms, but it can have long-term effects on the body that you wouldn’t find out until after the symptoms are starting to show.
The test itself just gives you opportunity to know your status. Take your medication, you can get to undetectable.
And if you come up HIV negative, you could look into PrEP.
But do it for yourself, so you can know, and don’t be in the dark.
