Make pleasure part of sexual health

We talk about the different “P’s” as clinicians that we’re supposed to ask you these different questions about your partners, your practices, if you plan on getting pregnant, all these kind of other things.

But the one P we often forget is pleasure. And so, we are gone from the days where we used to just say, “Well, you have to always use condoms. You have to do this; you have to do this, you can’t have sex with these people, you can’t engage in these behaviors.”

What I want to encourage is get the knowledge. Know what you’re dealing with when you engage in certain behaviors. Have a good time.
