Talking about sex is part of healthcare

Talking about sex with your patients creates a really important alignment between your patient and you.

And it really shows that you care and that you are giving care to the whole person as opposed to just a part of them.

People’s sexuality, their drug use, those are all parts of their experience. And offering them tools to prevent HIV and stay healthy, it’s really our job as primary care physicians.
