You’re hearing a lot about monkeypox now because we’ve seen a big spike in cases.

It can cause much more severe disease in people who have weaker immune systems from cancer treatment as well as pregnant women.

If you think you may have been exposed to monkeypox, check skin, mouth, genitalia & anus for lesions.

If you have symptoms of monkeypox, seek testing at a sexual health clinic.
