GTA:  Why did you get involved with Greater Than AIDS?
Our AIDS pandemic is due to misinformation, lack of access. Black people aren't engaged enough in matters of health and fall prey to the consequences of misinformation. We wanted to convey the image of a healthy, happy and strong African-American family.

GTA: What do you hope people will learn from the campaign?
I hope people take on a greater air of responsibility and accountability. We have to value our bodies, our relationships, our sexuality.  If you’re gonna be free, keep it as safe as possible.  Safer is just better. 

GTA:  Have you heard from anyone since appearing in the campaign?
I have friends and family calling me from all over the country…St. Louis, Detroit….all over saying “I saw this huge sign and you were on it.”    We’re everywhere!

GTA:  Anything else you would like to add?
I’m an Aquarian, pretty free.  Spontaneity is great.  Respect Murphy ’s Law.  Whatever can go wrong, may.  Take every precaution possible. If we’re better prepared, we can have that much more fun.
