Road to AIDS 2012: Bringing Your Voice to Washington

The U.S. presidential race isn’t the only big news of 2012—this year also marks the first time in more than two decades the International AIDS Conference will be held in the United States.
The conference is a major international event that gets a lot of attention, and AIDS activists and researchers have been waiting a very long time for this moment. When the meeting convenes this July in Washington, it will be an unprecedented opportunity to make sure the needs of the U.S. communities suffering the greatest burden of HIV/AIDS are voiced and heard.
The Road to AIDS 2012 project is making sure that happens. In a series of town halls held in cities across the United States, Road to AIDS 2012 is hearing from the people and gathering information to get the major issues in these communities on the agenda. Learn more in the video below:
Greater Than AIDS is proud to be a supporting national partner for the initiative, run by the Urban Coalition for HIV/AIDS Prevention Services, the Community Education Group, and the International AIDS Society.
